Competition Divisions
La Super-Am offered registration across five competitive streams: Solo, Amateur (including mixed individual Amateur), Amateur Team Formation and Showdance, and American Style. Competitors submitted entry forms and order forms by email to DanseSport Québec, and entry was conditional on purchasing spectator tickets as part of the registration process.
Sanctioning & Affiliations
The event was sanctioned by the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) and the Canadian DanceSport Federation (CDF), with organisational support from Sports Québec and the Gouvernement du Québec. DanseSport Québec, the event’s host organisation, is a member federation of CDF and has held provincial governing status since 1972.
Venue & Host Hotel
The competition was held at Le Sodanse, located at 221 rue Brébeuf in Beloeil, QC. Competitors and guests requiring overnight accommodations were directed to Hôtel Le Dauphin Montréal-Longueuil (1055, rue Saint-Laurent Ouest, Longueuil, QC), a separate property approximately 20 minutes from the competition venue.
